I Was A Teenage Satan Worshipper – Strange Lights

On their new album, I Was A Teenage Satan Worshipper (yes, that is the name of the band) achieve a solid combination of rock and electronica, with some good pop melodies on top. The result, entitled Strange Lights, is a pretty addictive, even for those who might be reluctant of the electronic bits, and it is probably the strongest effort done by the done to this date. While some of the tracks demand your best dance moves (A Day Like This, Ten Years Later), others bring some atmospheric classic synthesizers-based electronica (Softcore Sex Dreams, Martin, Amsterdamned). Finally, the album is rounded with a few power pop gems, like Watcha Lookin’ At? and Just Do It. We are sure that with this new album, IWATSW will make some good noise in the indie scene as it already proves their hectic touring schedule this spring. But now you can click on the continue reading link to hear the opening track of Strange Lights, which also carries the title Strange Lights.
