What an early Xmas treat! Cats On Fire just unveiled a new song and this means that their new album is ready. The follow-up to 2009′s Our Temperance Movement will be out in a few months, but in the meantime let’s enjoy this fantastic first taste. My Sense of Pride maintains the beautiful Cats On Fire’s signature sound, but with an extra punch that takes the band to the next level. They are set to be one of the finest pop bands of 2012.

Rami, singer and guitarist of Delay Trees, admits that he’s been making some music late at night. And every day when he looked at the clock, the time was 23:23. Therefore, he’s releasing this music now with the nickname of 23:23. Safe is the first song available and one EP is on the works. Stay tuned. It is as dreamy as the best Delay Trees.

Black Twig – Death Scene

Noisepoppers Black Twig have dropped a new song from their forthcoming debut album Paper Trees. It is three and a half minutes of 90′s guitar pop with a touch of melancholic J Mascis type of vocals and it just makes me want to hear more of that album in a few weeks. Paper Trees will be released on 11 January through Soliti.

 

Kevin – A Lonely Place

2011 is not over yet, but I am already looking forward to some releases of early 2012. One of them is Kevin‘s long overdue return. The album will be in stores next spring, but Kevin have already offered a little bit of it in the form of the 60′s psych flavored pop song A Lonely Place.
